Introduction to Accord eHR
What Accord eHR does, the four areas of the portal, and which parts you will see based on your role.
Table of Contents
Accord eHR is your company's employee portal. You use it to apply for leave, declare your timesheet, download payslips and keep your personal details up to date — and, if you manage people or run HR, to approve requests and configure the portal for everyone else.
The four areas of the portal
The menu at the top of every screen has up to four items. You only see the ones your role allows.
Today's attendance, your leave balance, holidays, notices, birthdays and company news.
Self ServiceApply for leave, declare timesheets, view payslips, declare investments and update your profile.
Team AdminFor managers: approve your team's leave, timesheets, claims and profile changes.
eHR Portal ManagementFor HR: user access, approval workflows, masters, dashboard content and policies.
Which parts will I see?
| Your role | Dashboard | Self Service | Team Admin | eHR Portal Management |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Employee | ✓ | ✓ | ||
| Team Admin (manager) | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | |
| HR Administrator | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ if also a Team Admin | ✓ |
Your HR team assigns the Team Admin and HR roles. If a menu item or a Self Service card you expect is missing, see I can't see a feature.
Your company decides which modules are switched on. If your portal doesn't show a feature described here — for example Loan or Outdoor Duty — it has not been enabled for your organisation.
