If you've forgotten your password, you can set a new one yourself. Accord emails a 6-digit one-time code (OTP) to the email address registered on your employee record.

## Before you start

You need your **company code**, your **user name** and access to the **email address HR has on file for you**. If that email address is out of date, ask HR to update it first — the code can only go to the registered address.

## How to reset your password

1. **Open Forgot password** — On the sign-in screen, select **Forgot password?** below the **NEXT** button.
2. **Enter your details** — Fill in **Company Code**, **Username** and **Email Address**, then select **SEND OTP**.
3. **Enter the code from your email** — Check your inbox for the 6-digit code. Type it into the six boxes and select **VERIFY OTP**.
4. **Set a new password** — Type your new password in **New Password** and again in **Confirm Password**, then select **RESET PASSWORD**.
5. **Sign in again** — When you see **Password Reset!**, select **BACK TO SIGN IN** and sign in with the new password.

> **Tip:** No email after a minute? Check your spam or junk folder. You can ask for a new code once the **Resend OTP** countdown (60 seconds) finishes.

## Messages you might see

| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| Please enter both your username and email address. | Both fields are required on the first screen. |
| Please enter the complete 6-digit OTP. | One of the six boxes is empty. |
| Passwords do not match. | Re-type the same password in both fields. |

If your details are correct but no code arrives, your registered email may be wrong — contact HR.
