Notices, news and events all work the same way. Open them from **eHR Portal Management → HR Tasks**: **Manage Notices**, **Manage News** or **Manage Events**.

*Manage Notices*

| Type | Use it for | Appears in |
|---|---|---|
| **Notice** | Official announcements — policy changes, office closures, reminders. Notices expire. | Notices and Announcements |
| **News** | Company stories and highlights. | Organization News Highlights |
| **Event** | Something happening on a date and time — town halls, celebrations, training. | Events - Upcoming |

## Publish a notice

1. **Start a new notice** — Select **Add New Notice**.
2. **Write it** — Enter the **Title** and **Content**. Add a **Featured Image** if you like.
3. **Set when it expires** — Under **Expires After**, enter a number and choose the **Period** — **Day(s)**, **Week(s)**, **Month(s)** or **Year(s)**, or **Never** to keep it until you remove it. An expired notice drops off the dashboard.

4. **Publish** — Leave **Publish** switched on and select **Publish Notice**. Switch it off to save the notice as a draft instead.

News articles (**Add New Article** → **Publish News**) and events (**Add New Event** → **Publish Event**) follow the same steps. Events also need an **Event Date** and **Event Time**.

## Edit, unpublish or delete

The list on each page shows everything you've created. Use the filter to show **All**, **Published** or **Expired/Unpublished** items, and search by title.

- Select edit, make your changes and select **Save Changes**.
- To take an item off the dashboard without deleting it, edit it and switch off **Publish**.
- Select delete and confirm **Are you sure?** to remove it permanently.

> **Tip:** Keep the dashboard fresh: set notices to expire, and remove past events so **Events - Upcoming** only shows what's ahead.
